Is the 24-Hour Truck Ban on Edsa Effective? | Roberts Automotive and Industrial Parts Manufacturing Corporation

As the crossroad of the major cities in the country, EDSA is surely one of the busiest motorways out there.  The traffic there is always heavy, leaving both commuters and vehicle owners twiddling their thumbs in exasperation.  Moreover, when there are accidents, the delays are more devastating, and one can spend their entire day stuck in a vast, endless vacuum of immobile automobiles.  Not a pleasant ride at all, if you can actually consider it a “ride”. Such aching traffic is a real pain in the neck, and we all know that those darn, fat, road-hogging trucks deserve a lot of the blame. Although trucks have their allocated lanes, a few douche drivers will still make use the lanes that are dearly reserved for you and I.

Truck Ban in the PhilippinesEspecially throughout these busy times, Truck Bans must be implemented to lighten the load of vehicles in this hectic avenue.  During Christmas Season, more and more accidents occur between all kinds of vehicles, which do nothing but worsen the already dreadful traffic.  To ease this time-consuming burden, certain protocols should be given to trucks.  They can be given a specific detour which can be of convenience for them and their goods.  Think about it. This would be a win-win both for the trucks and the average vehicles.  But even though this sounds really beneficial for everyone, there will be difficulty in convincing truck operators and drivers to adapt to this regulation.
